Yes, the place is filled with people, I mean a lot of people -very crowded- but still with the amazing things you can do in Mong Kok, you will definitely love the place, the people, and everything that has to do with Mong Kok.
If you really want to enjoy navigating through Mong Kok, the public transportation is your best bet. You get to see a lot of the locals, how they interact, if you are not the shy type, you can even interact with some of them. The people there are pretty lovely and are ready to help you out with almost anything.
And since Mong Kok is in Hong Kong, you know there are always going to be lights everywhere. With the crowd in the city, the lights are always busy, from traffic lights to street lights and store adverts, you are bound to see light everywhere, especially during the night. Besides displaying or advertising the wares of the store or shop owners, the lights also add a form of beauty to the city; you’ll be awed by what you see when you step out to explore Mong Kok at night.

Days in the city doesn’t really start until late in the afternoon, so you get to rest well and enjoy the morning in bed before you begin exploring the city. But to go on with your exploration, you need strength and we all know food can provide us with strength. So, if what you are craving for includes something spicy, then the Sour and Spicy Noodles is where you should go. Located at 1/F, Dundas Square, 43 Dundas Street, Mong Kok, the Sour and Spicy Noodles is your one spot stop for the best spicy noodles and chicken. They also offer non-spicy foods, and the best part is that they are very cheap. Buying from this food vendor is worth it.
This food vendor is near Gala Place, which serves as a hub for food vendors, so if you are not interested in Chinese noodles and chicken, there are other options around for you to choose from.
Looking for a paradise of sneakers, clothes, gifts and stuffed toys? Trendy zone is the place to go. You’ll find Trendy Zone on 580 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is also located on Dundas Street, not far from the food cafes. So if you feel like shopping after lunch, head down to the entrance of Dundas Street and there you’ll find Trendy zone.
Located on 47-51, Shang Tung Street, Mong Kok, Sim City is home to tech and gadget shops. From cameras and lens to headphones to smartphone and camera accessories, Sim City has got everything that has to do with the digital world. The products sold here are very cheap, though the prices vary between the different shops that are in the three-level mall.
TEAWOOD TAIWANESE CAFÉ AND RESTAURANT
If you are feeling tired and worn out from your shopping experience, you can relax and chill here with some hearty and beautiful tasting ice cream with toast. The Teawood Taiwanese Café and Restaurant is located on 10/F, King Wah Centre, 628 Nathan Road Kowloon, Hong Kong (entrance on Shan Tung Street next to Sim City).
